Greetings everyone! A good friend of mine has a StarMax clone that he purchased a number of years ago. After he's finished using it, he always turns it off. Recently, when he has returned to the computer, he has found it turned on and running.
Just last week he shut it off, went away for the weekend, and when he returned, it was running again. Further, sometimes after he goes to bed, having shut off the computer, he wakes to find it running in the middle of the night. My first thought was his wife was playing an odd joke on him, but apparently that isn't the case. Has anyone experienced anything similar with their StarMax? Any suggestions on fixing it? He is running Mac OS 7.6 Thanks for your help!
