I'll just comment at this point that I did successfully upgrade from 9.0.4 (installed via CD onto a new drive, HFS+) to 9.1 (using downloaded updater), with no real problems, on a 4000/200 (64 Mb). All that went wrong was my hack to keep the default channels out of Sherlock 2 caused errors during the upgrade, so watch out if you, too, have done this :)
