You need a patch for Apples player. You'll find it at the ThinkDVD site 
at: <http://web.tiscali.it/thinkdifferent/english/tools.html>.

You may need to optimize your system (minimize other sys resource 
consuming items like extensions, etc) for it to run well. Also, turn off 
Virtual Memory & try minimizing screen size. I guess I lost my old link 
to this discussion. It was suggested the Memory Preferred Size of Apple 
DVD player be set to 40,000k. I run mine at 82,719k. I found it easiest 
to set up another partition with a stripped system just for DVD's.
