There was some piece of software that I downloaded (I don't really remember where) that modifies the Sonnet extension to run the processor faster (however it does that). Metronome reports the processor as running at 300MHz and the temperatures do not elevate to any dangerous levels. And I can actually notice a small speed boots when running some CPU intensive Apps (like printing to my Alps printer).
If I remember, I'll try and get the name of the software I downloaded to do this.
