Yes, the scanner was on before startup. I installed
the software first. The "epson smart panel" tells me
to install the suported Twain driver. On the bottom of
the smart panel, next to "device" it reads "none" and
I think the Twain5 should be indicated there.
Perhaps there is an extension that I have turned off
that is needed to run this. I did try to turn on all
my extensions, still no luck.
