I just installed an 80 gig hardrive in my starmax 4000/200 !!with a G3JoeCard,
YEAH!!!! love that card. and a CD Burner. Now the fellow who was selling me this
stuff thought that a IDE driver usually will handle two connections per cable; there
was a cable in the box with three connectors on it for that purpose. One goes to the
driver and the other two to connect to two IDE devices.

I told him that I thought only two IDE devices to the starmax, period. But I thought
I'd check it out with the experts before I put any money on it. so, this is my phone
call "lifeline" or email lifeline. What your final answer? Only two IDE devices or
four with two on a cable?

I'll share my winnings with you.
