Thanks to David. I think I have found a solution. Somewhere in the
Logitech information there was something about makeing sure the
Mouseware software loaded the lasf of all the extant pointer software.
I tried turning off the power to the hub but still no positive result.
Finally renamed the Mouseware control panel by putting a tilde in front
of the name and that seems to have done the trick. Not sure if a
similar solution would work for Kensington. We never had that kind of
trouble with our Kensington track ball but then it was ADB. Might have
made a differnce. Just for your info, we have an Apple ADB mouse and an
IBM ps2 mouse connected at the same time as the Logitech on the USB.
All work. The PS2 works a little faster(cursor movement) than the ADB.
Thanks again for all your help.
Is this a great community or what?
Keith
