When you state "...and it doesn't start up", do you mean no response at
all? No chime, no lights, etc? On my DT model, I need to push and hold the
CUDA button for 10 seconds, while the machine is plugged into a live wall
socket, otherwise it won't boot after a battery change. Its easy to access
the CUDA with the top off my DT, but I don't know about CUDA access in the
tower model.
