Hi:

Try going through the machine and disconnecting and reconnecting all your 
cables, both inside and out.

I had this very same problem with my SM3000, which went away after I did 
the above. I honestly don't know why this worked -- I was pretty sure all 
the cables were correctly connected -- but somehow it did.
