It is labeled PCI Ethernet 100 Base-TX Adapter
ID: 00A04B09A5D8
GU0038735
Rev. 2.1
The main chip on the card bears the "MacOS" 2-toned blue trademark.
Other than these numbers I cannot find any hint of just what driver this card needs to work properly with the installed OS 8.6. The exterior back outside the PCI slot shows 4 green LEDs, only one of which lights up when the StarMax is running, thus I take it to mean the Ethernet card is getting power but lacks the proper driver.
Thanks to all for any help on this dilemma!
Bill
