Malcolm,
The boundaries for the SETI region are not always rectangular. This is
because the scope could have been slewing (yes it can move, they move the
head) during SETI data taking. They analyze all of the data. I attempt to
draw the area that the SETI files say you are now searching. If that area
looks non-sensical, it may be due to a large movement in the scope.
