It is compressed information about the star position and other data, but if it is omitted, Starry Night can still look up this information from the star name." That's from a mail I received from Mike Parkes in my attempts to find/get/build data for ancient constellations (classic Greek, Assyrian, Babylonian, or even Chinese). All I could achieve is to modify (a copy of!)
