Here's a judgement call for you: just which day would you peg as the
heliacal rising of Venus starting around 11-17-934 from Chichen Itza, a
Maya city in the Yucatan (at about 88 32'W 20 40'N)?
Sienna, it would be very helpful here to know what algorithm you use to
determine just when an object disappears from the sky as the Sun rises.
