Hi, I am trying to boot up my machine using iSCSI and remotely installed RHEL 4 U3 image. My iSCSI boot utility get the kernel image and the initrd from the remote disk. The initrd (customized) establishes a connection to the remote disk and init process is created.
while executing the S08iptables script from the /etc/rc3.d/ directory, the system gets HUNG. I commented out ip-restore command in this script file and it working fine. ip-restore command is supposed to apply certain set of rule provided in /etc/sysconfig/iptables, i ain't understanding why the connection is getting reset or disturbed though. I could see TCP packet losses at the Target end. If any guys know about this please let me know. ~Cheers Prasanna
