My server is CentOS5, i am attempting to boot a diskless CentOS5 image
kernel 2.6.18-53.1.4.el5, I followed the fedorproject.org statelessl
linux wiki HOWTO. I have been stuck here for a while, any input/ideas
as to what I can look at to resolve the following issues would be
appreciated, thanx.

I get the following failures as I attempt to boot the diskless image:

Remounting root filesystem in read-write mode: mount: can't find / in
/etc/fstab or /etc/mtab
                                                [FAILED]
mount: can't find / in /etc/fstab or etc/mtab
Mounting local filesystems: mount: devpts already mounted or /dev/pts
busy
mount: sysfs already mountd or /sys busy
                                                [FAILED]

/* this is followed by several messages such as the following */
touch: cannot touch '/.autorelable': Read-only file system
touch: cannot touch "/var/lib/random-seed':Read-only file system
.... severl similar messages follow, and then i get this.
