Hi, It seems that Orkut (another online social networking community) is trying to add new things and AJAXIFY them! I was just wondering if a plugin which would also update the status messages of orkut, could be developed. This way we can get the biggest social networking sites synced with the identi.ca. (Orkut is pretty popular in India and Brazil) I found this link for the Orkut API's. Don't know how useful it would be..
