If I may add my own 2 bits here, Evan, it's only proper to have documentation
for any major version changes. Perhaps more important than the code is the
documentation, It allows others to wrap their mind around the concept easily
without giving up in desperation.
For you Amit, if you have an instance already running .8X why the rush to
.9x ?
It is just a release candidates and many revisions will be made to it,
before it becomes stable. You need all that headache on a live server?
Your site users can wait another month. if you want to help test it do it
from identi.ca or install a private instant and toy with that. Avoid going
live with this yet and hopefully save yourself nightmare scenarios.

Evan and guys, thanks for the great work. I'll be installing a private
instance soon, But lets see some documentation when you can.
