The AGPL applies only to the StatusNet codebase and not to user submitted data. All user submitted content (updates, files) are covered under the Attribution Creative Commons 3.0 license: http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/ This again applies to all user submitted data, EXCLUDING contact info, password users may submit.
