I've done GSOC last year [0] and I'd love to work on this year with
Status.net
Project Idea
--------------------------
This is a poll platform based on Status.net and using existing 140 messages.
This can useful to do a poll on the stream using the API,home or from mobile
devices...
(please note I'm familiar with Twitter so I use tweet. please let me know
the status.net word for that)
Things work like this.
1. You send a tweet like this :
@poll Google, Apple or Microsoft
2. Then the system register the poll and reply as :
@arunoda asks Google,Apple or Microsoft via @poll
3. Then people can vote like this :
Google RT @arunoda asks Google,Apple or Microsoft via @poll
or
1 RT @arunoda asks Google,Apple or Microsoft via @poll
4. Then you can look @ the result like this
result @arunoda asks Google,Apple or Microsoft via @poll
5. Then system will respond
Google 60%, Apple 30%, Microsoft 10%
