Hello. It seems that after a period of relative calm, a new, more persistent breed of spammers have finally reached our wiki. The same bot forced the webmaster of the INDI wiki to shut down registration. :) As the links they spam are to different websites, the only way to filter them is by the titles, so I've installed the Title Blacklist extension: http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:TitleBlacklist I believe that by blacklisting a few choice keywords ("loan", "mortgage", "jobs") it can deal with 90% of the spam.
Note that the "working copy" of the website Bazaar branch that is currently on the server still thinks that it's revision 11. If no-one does it, tomorrow I'll try to back up the site and pull the most recent revision.
