Ah That is the answer
I have the atmosphere turned off by default so I can view star positions by
daylight
I must have missed that reference somewhere. Maybe there should be a notation
on the menu noting that refraction will only show if atmosphere is on.

Hi Barry,
are you sure you have atmosphere switched on? The data display currently
shows apparent and geometric coords all the time. (This should be switched
off if atm==off)
Go into view settings, Sky/Atmosphere:
[x] Show atmosphere
Refraction/Extinction settings...
Mouse-over pressure or temperature, wheel-mouse to smoothly adjust.
Note that extinction coefficient is not used yet, hopefully coming soon.
If this doesn't help, I'm out of my wit, sorry.
Fabien, do you have any idea if it's possible it does not work?
What hardware platform do you use?
