Hi
I have compiled a windows version.
I am not sure what the problems are. I have used the program that I compiled
from build 4970 and have no problems with the log book.

However the release version of Stellarium should not have had the option to
compile the logbook activated because Tim has not completed it yet.
Other options not activated at release time are the sound and the read old
scripts as both items are only partially working. I do compile these items as
specials but not for a release version.

I have no problem with adding new locations although the procedure is a little
convoluted and is liable to spoiling the entry if not done correctly.

I do not know who compiled the RC- release. But I can provide a package
compiled with the correct items if necessary.

Subject: Re: [Stellarium-pubdevel] Stellarium 0.11.1 Release Candidate 1

Greetings
I've gone through a quick test on rc1.
Issues:
A. crash when logbook plugin is openedB. When LogBook plugin is loaded, it has
the "configure" button active, but clicking it does not do anything.
C. Location window:The following scenario result in resetting the selected
location to Paris:1. Select a city from the list2. Check "Use as default" box3.
The city name will appear in the lower horisontal bar
4. close the window5. The city name in the horisontal bar will change to "New
Location"6. Now if click the "Save settings" button in the Configuration window
main tab and restart stellarium, I will have the location reset to the default
city Paris, and I will get a message similar to the following in the log:
Warning: location "New Location, Spain" is unknown.
If the last step is not performed, the selected city will be saved as the
default city
Other functions and bug fixes are ok.

Best regards,
Khalid
