I guess the reason for the poor pre-orders is your option b.
People apparently don't think it's worth upgrading.
I'm one of the guys that always wants to have the latest version, so I've pre-
ordered the upgrade, but I guess many people will not see the extra value, or
simply don't need the extra features..
I do know that many people enjoy STFax, including me and I use it
professionally without problems (well I do have some problems :-))
Do hope sales will increase plenty, it's worth it!
