Please excuse me for posting an OT question but you lot are the best people
around to ask.
Further apologies to people on the same three MLs as me - just delete all
three copies of this!
Any replies /to me personally, please,/ at [EMAIL PROTECTED] not to the
ML.

I bought and installed the Digia Wordworth7 CD when it was first produced.
Not long afterwards, IIRC, Digita issued a free download to update it to
either ver.7.01 or ver.7.1 or something like that.

Foolishly, I didn't think I needed to keep a copy of the update patch
archive because there would probably be further updates and if I needed it
again I could always go and get it again.

Well, although I didn't, there weren't, I do, and I can't!

I didn't keep a copy.
There weren't any more update patches.
I do now need it again.
And I can't find it on the net.

I'm re-installing Ww7 (on a reasonably fast office laptop running UAE), and
I've trawled the Internet for this update archive. Its not on Aminet.
Digita's site is worse than useless. Search engines produce only old
reviews and broken links.

This is pretty bad news. Its not that the ver. I'm now installing at work
is all that important, but at home I have only the Ww7.0 CD and no backup of
the bugfix release.

Can anyone point me to a site where I can find this update so that I have a
backup in case I have any problems with Ww7 on my real Amiga at home? It'd
be nice for the laptop as well. ...Of course, I promise that I'll only ever
use one of them at a time :)

I know that not everyone admires Wordworth, but I happen to like it, I can
live with its occasional tantrum, I paid a fair few quid for it, and I'd
really be most grateful for any assistance with this.

Regards to all,
John
