I tried NTFS/FAT/FAT32 quick format with my Debian and Windows XP boxes and the latest tgt but I can't reproduce the crash. Do you know what tgt version you use? You use the version shipped with Fedora 7? BTW, non quick format fails since VERIFY command fails. I added VERIFY command support (though it's a fake).
