Ok . . so i downloaded chome, the new browser from google ( a very good browser by the way) and visited one of my websites in it (www.enniscroneonline.com) , and was hit with a big red screen saying:
The website at www.enniscroneonline.com contains elements from the site 61.132.75.71, which appears to host malware – software that can hurt your computer or otherwise operate without your consent. Just visiting a site that contains malware can infect your computer. . . what a shock, as i have nothing on the site that would harm anyones computer. and have NEVER came across this message before in my life, on any website. it said: For detailed information about the problems with these elements, visit the Google Safe Browsing diagnostic page for 61.132.75.71. which i did, and it displayed the following information: What is the current listing status for 61.132.75.0? This site is not currently listed as suspicious. What happened when Google visited this site? Google has not visited this site within the past 90 days. Has this site acted as an intermediary resulting in further distribution of malware? Over the past 90 days, 61.132.75.0 did not appear to function as an intermediary for the infection of any sites. Has this site hosted malware? No, this site has not hosted malicious software over the past 90 days. So whats the problem you may ask. . . well thats the question im asking?? WHATS THE PROBLEM? i try and find out. . . and every blog and help section of every site says: Requesting a review of your site back to top Once you have reviewed your site and are sure it is clean, you can can submit a request for review. Note that you'll need to verify site ownership before you can request a site review. Sign in to Webmaster Tools with your Google account. On the Dashboard, select the site you want. On the Overview page, click Request a review and follow the instructions. We'll review your site and, if we determine that it doesn't host or distribute badware, we'll remove the identification from the search results. except on the overview page of that site there is no "request a review" i have posted my situation on a few other groups but with no real help or responce as this dose not seem to be an issue with anyone else. i have gone to the stop bad ware website and entered my website address in the "Website Clearinghouse" section (link below) http://www.stopbadware.org/home/reportsearch as suggested on the site, but it holds no record off the site. can anyone please shine some light on this matter?? it does only seem to be an issue in google chrome (i hope) thank in advance Darren --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message through the Google Groups "stopbadware" group.
