Hello Oliver: Thank you for pointing that out. I understand that the server is compromised and might have more issues than just the 404 page. I have moved my website to a different service provider and requested a review by Google. It came out clean and the the flag has been taken off.
I have one question though - How were you able to identify that it was the 404 page? Would you be able to give names of tools that were used in identifying the issue so I can handle the situation if it happens again or help somebody else having the same issue? In google's webmaster tools, I wish it specifically pointed out where the issue was. Thank you once again in helping me resolve the issue.
