They fear that the Western anti-globalisation movement will eventually be adopted by the capitalists by integrating them as advising NGOs serving as a “human” cover for globalisation. Globalisation means the economic, political and military tyranny of the Western capitalists over the world. A consequent struggle against globalisation therefore cannot stop at reforming capitalism (which has been proved impossible) but got to attack imperialism. We have to join hands and to support all those forces from the “periphery” already engaged in the first line of the battle against the Western exploitation and oppression linking them to the class struggle in the West (reviving it at the same time). The anti-imperialist mobilisation in Genoa is attempting to give to the anti-globalisation movement an antagonistic character.
