There are two different methods for connecting the same initiator to the
same target multiple times. One is the official way, which is documented in
the RFC, and is called Multiple Connections per Session (MC/S). The other
method which several initiators support is multiple sessions per target. The
Solaris iSCSI Target supports having multiple sessions from the same
initiator. Saying that is kind of cheating since the target really doesn't
have to do anything. If the initiator is willing to create separate sessions
the target is more than happy to accept the session.

As Jim points out the target doesn't support MC/S at this time. MC/S support
is where the fun really begins for both a target and initiator.

Just thought I'd try to provide a little more information since this can be
a tricky area if you're not familiar with the protocol.

A good friend will come and bail you out of jail ... but, a true friend will
be sitting next to you saying, "Damn .. that was fun!"
