Hi

I just replaced a PC, but I'd like to reuse the scsi disks. I have a Tekram DC-390U2W HBA, which only has 32bit drivers. I've installed SXCE 125, and if I boot the 32bit kernel, then I can access the disks (at least 'zpool import' sees the zpool that's there).

Is there any work being done on 64bit ncrs? If not, any idea how much effort would be involved (I'm not a device driver developer, though I have dabbled a bit - my day job is as a C application developer).

Though I hate wasting things, would I be better off either trying to pick up a cheap HBA off ebay that is supported (something like an Adaptec 39160) or just buy a €50 SATA disk?

A+
Paul
