It appears that the target is not responding to the initiator and the initiator is timing out the IO requests and aborting the IO’s. Our target driver debug messages do not show anything wrong, but it does show the initiator aborting the IO’s. I will need to see the COMSTAR stmf debug messages at the time of the problem to see if COMSTAR is receiving the requests and if so why COMSTAR is not responding.
To dump the stmf trace messages you must enter the following just after the problem occurs. The result will be placed in a file called stmf.log. echo "*stmf_trace_buf/s"| mdb -k > stmf.log Send me the stmf.log and the new emlxs debug messages that go with the log. It helps if I have a matching set to study.
