YOu should know the pppd died from Corel..:-)
Edit /etc/ppp/options ,around line 37 change auth to noauth .
For sound ,use modconf ,check if you have the module for your sound ,if
yuo do
insert it,then
apt-get update
apt-get dist-upgrade #to correct a small bug
apt-get install gom
follow the setup prompts on the screen carefully
reboot and done
Somebody should port over the sndconfig package from RH since it's been
reported to be working.:-) .I can't test test it since sndconfig in
Corel didn;t detect my ESS
