install alien....alien allows you to run rpm on debian. debian uses .deb
files. The best was is to learn to use dselect to install alien. The
debian package manager is the best on the market and can be used to up grade
your entire Linux OS.
to upgrade the OS log in as root
and at a prompt type apt-get dist-upgrade

use RPMs on Storm Linux? I have Storm Linux 2000. I installed it last
night. There are many apps I'd like to use, but they are all on RPMs.
