i dont know if this is where im suposed to go
for help, but hey im lost. i cant get my kppp to work! i tried what it said in
the FAQ (apt-get update kppp) and it said:
"E: Could not open lock file
/var/state/apt/lists/lock -open (13 Permissin denied)
E: Unable to lock the list
directory"
it also says when i run kppp
"This kernel has no ppp support neither compiled in
nor via the kernel module loader.
To solve this problem
*contact your system administrator
or
*install a kernal with ppp support
ok if anyone can help me, a newbie lost in a big
storm linux world, please contact cuz im so stuck with it, i need to get on the
net in linux so i can get taklin to ppl and tryin stuff.
