Well, I had so many errors with Storm that I gave up last night and
reinstalled, resetting my card to 1024x768, which oddly enough, is now
pretty small looking on my 15" monitor. It seems that the 800x600 to
1024x768 is way too broad a range for a normal config. I wonder what is up?
But the real questions are:
Can I view the filenames on my FAT32/Win98 drives in long file names? I am
saying that the drive is msdos, not vfat32, as vfat32 was not liked by the
mount command. Msdos seems to see only the dos side of the fat table.
I downloaded xf86setup_3.3.2.3a-11.deb from the Debian site, and I am
clueless as what to do with a *.deb file.
I have a Lucent 56k Win Modem that is said to be a Linmodem, too. Storm's
installation detects it, but I seem to need to do something to make it
usable. Any clues as to what? I would love to get connected on the Linux
side of my machine, which would eliminate Q1 up there.
