OK. The old lilo that came w/ Stormix (which I could not avoid; it
automatically installs it, whether you like it or now) does not support
more than 1024 c. So I got the new Lilo. Problem is that I somehow need
to wipe the old one somehow, as when I run the Quickinstall script, it
is unable to compile Lilo (as86 returns a whole bunch of errors).
So:
a) how do I get RID of Lilo so I can compile the new one?
b) someone else asked about this earlier: when I compile bzImage, I am
putting it in /vmlinuz as a file (and not in /boot directory)
c) I do want to have Lilo running. So any help regarding this matter
would be much appreciated. I have downloaded 21.4.4 of Lilo
d) I am not a novice, well, to Linux I am.. but I have been
programming/using Solaris and other UNIX flavors for a long time... so
feel free to get technical on me :-)
