I looked at www.kernal.org and there is nothing about a 2.2.17 --
only 2.2.16 stable and then 2.4 beta... can I assume that 2.2.16
stable means just that? Stable? Or should I just scrap the idea
and wait till there's an official release of the 2.4.x ??
