This weekend I was trying to install the sawmill window manager
and while configuring librep (librep-0.11.3 I believe) it said "checking
for gdbm.h... no" then "configure: error: no GDBM header found" (or
something like that) and stopped configuring. Where do I get this
so I can continue? Earlier in that same day when configuring it
gave me "checking for gmp.h... no" and a similar error as above
and also stopped but I gave "apt-get install gmp" a whirl and it
found it and installed it. When I went to configure again, it said
"checking for gmp.h... yes" and I was happy. Then the above
happened but I was unable to use the same remedy -- it did not
work.
Someone know what I should be doing at this point?
