The installatin runs on a different console,I think 2 .CTRL ALT F2 .
There are about 4 consoles in the install and you can see different
messages on each one of them.I didn't have a problem switching between
them nor during beta testing nor after-I do use the CD to boot different
computers to "fix" corupted partition tables when dos/win fdisk will
refuse to deal with them,read devices ID's,zero HDD's a.s.o...
