I used the new (to "Hail") soundcard setup tool. It was the first time I had ever
heard anything other
than hissing out of my speakers in Linux. I heard the midi and the voice perfect,
but...
When I exited the tool, and fired up xmms, and then tried to play an audio file, I got
an error saying that
it did not like my soundcard, (or it could not detect the soundcard). It is a cheap
isa sound card, should
I ditch it for a cheap sb16 isa, or is there a little trick that I am missing.
