Yes,it's the LSB but that's more vapourware for now and just talks
without a foreseeble result anytime soon :-)

You can run kernel 2.4 even in potato.I've done it for a while untill
I blew out a FAT16 partition (it was mounted as vfat to preserve long
filenames which worked before with 2.2).
