Hi. Tried the above, but depmod -a reports:
        depmod: *** Unresolved symbols in
/lib/modules/2.2.16-storm-ide/net/tulip.o

No other information was provided.

Trying to do modprobe tulip.o results in:
        modprobe: Can't locate module tulip.o

This also happens for old_tulip.o, and although I can insmod tulip.o,
trying to do this with old_tulip.o results in:
old_tulip.o: init_module: Device or resource busy
Hint: this error can be caused by incorrect module parameters,
including invalid IO or IRQ parameters

Now, I have checked this by rebooting into Mandrake, and the network
card does work there. I know that Ryan mentioned looking at old_tulip.o
(well actually, he recommended oldtulip; but there isn't one of those in
/lib/modules/2.2.16-storm-ide/net). As for the IRQs; as far as Storm
sees, there is no IRQ assigned to any kind of NIC when I do a cat
/proc/interrupts. Paul suggested I check this, but I will have to
reboot to check what BIOS thinks is happening with the IRQs. If it is
working under Mandrake 7.0-2, I take it this rules out an IRQ issue,
like the LNE10/100 grabbing a taken IRQ?

Help?

Thanks in advance,
Mike Pfleger
