I'm using it here at work and on three systems at home,  works like a charm.

With the standard Storm install,  all you should need to do is run imwheel. 

Unless gpm is set up to use 'ps2' instead of 'imps2'.  I noticed that the
mouse detection gets this wrong with some mice. Try running gpmconfig,
it should repeat as 'ms3' (Intellimouse) hence the entry in XF86Config.

If you're not running gpm,  then you'll need to change your XF86Config to
use 

        Device          "/dev/psaux"
        Protocol        "IMPS/2"
