I have a Gateway 2500 laptop which prior to Storm (Redhat, Slack, and
Debian) has never had a problem with pcmcia. For some reason I get a
High then dull beep. The dull beep indicates something is not right but
I'm not sure what it could be. The only pcmcia device I have is a modem.
Also when shutting down the device does not want to disconnect or close.
I get a message it is busy.
Can the Storm kernel be recompiled the debian way and what must be
installed to do so.
