I have a USB scanner, but it's not an HP and it's attached to my Mac right
now. I really need to try it on my Linux Box and see if Gimp or some other
program can see/use it. I'll see what I can do over the next day or so and
report back.
I have an AGFA SnapScan 1212U that is supposed to work. So now let's see if
it does ;-)
