I feel that I'm just on the verge of being able to make my DSL line work. I've downloaded and compiled the 3c90x-1.0.0 driver for my 3Com 3C905C EtherLink card and have the 3c90x.o file. lsmod shows: root@rjw# lsmod Module Size Used by ppp_deflate 40936 0 (autoclean) bsd_comp 3908 0 (autoclean) ppp 21132 0 (autoclean) [ppp_deflate bsd_comp] slhc 4664 0 (autoclean) [ppp] emu10k1 45264 0 (autoclean) soundcore 2644 4 (autoclean) [emu10k1] lockd 31084 1 (autoclean) sunrpc 51804 1 (autoclean) [lockd] af_packet 6464 0 (autoclean) serial 19196 0 (autoclean) 3c59x 19548 1 but when I try to: root@rjw# rmmod 3c59x 3c59x: Device or resource busy I've also downloaded and compiled rp-pppoe-2.3 from www.roaringpenguin.com and its installation process reassured me that my configuration is likely OK. I recommend it. My question now is, how do I determine what device or resource is is that's busy, and how do I get it to relax and take some time off? TIA for any hints to the clueless. ---- Ralph Winslow _______________________________________________ Stormlinux-users-list mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.stormix.com/community/lists/listinfo/stormlinux-users-list
