Hello. I recently downloaded the Stormix 2.02 ISO. I do not have a CD Rom
burner. I tried the hd install, but when it asked for the cdrom image file,
I assumed it meant the ISO image. I pointed it to the file, but it said that
was not the correct file, so I kept trying files all over including the
kernel image files and everything and nothing would work. What am I doing
wrong during the install or is this a bug in 2.02? What I did was use
WinIMAGE 5.0 to extract the ISO image. I then created a boot disk. I chose
hard drive install, and it gave me a list of my partitions. I chose the
partition where the ISO file and the extracted files were. It detected my
mouse and keyboard fine. Then it asked me to give it the cdrom image file
location and that is where I couldnt use the ISO file I downloaded. I tried
that and many other files since the ISO file wouldnt work. The File format
on the drive was FAT32 LBA if that makes any difference and the operating
system is Windows Me. Im stumped on how to get this to install correctly.
If I am doing something wrong, please let me know what, or is this a bug I
should report?
