I am trying to compile an MP3 mixing application called TerminatorX
(http://www-stud.fht-esslingen.de/~alkoit00/tX/). When I run
"./configure", it does its thing and exits with the following message:
checking for GTK - version >= 1.2.0... no
*** Could not run GTK test program, checking why...
*** The test program failed to compile or link. See the file config.log
for the
*** exact error that occured. This usually means GTK was incorrectly
installed
*** or that you have moved GTK since it was installed. In the latter
case, you
*** may want to edit the gtk-config script: /usr/bin/gtk-config
configure: error: ** GTK 1.2.0 not installed or broken **
I'm running Hail, and I just did apt-get update & apt-get dist-upgrade
this morning. I've installed the libgtk-dev packages.
I'm not too heavy on this build-it-yourself stuff (yet), so any
suggestions would be appreciated - thanks!
Sean
