Okay, so this morning I took the plunge and installed KDE2. Everything
goes smooth until I make a typo in a gnome-terminal session and notice
my backspace key is no longer working. So, I do so exploring and notice
this problem seems to be screwing with everything.

Anyone have any thoughts on how to repair this? I don't really want to
go through the hassle of remapping my keyboard.

Next problem. Kmail2. Kmail is the only program I really want to run
from the KDE packages. It installed okay, but when I try and POP to get
my mail from the server I get an error about "POP not supported". Any
ideas?

Cheers,
