I have been having trouble changing from
Enlightenment/Gnome to XFCE. I am trying to conserve
some ram, so would like to try something using less
memory. I tried copying the Debian and Gnome files (in
/etc) to XFWM so it would be on the list for gdm. I
also changed the settings in ~/.XSession and .xinitrc,
but when I log in at the gdm window, xfce/xfwm won't
start and then trying Gnome/Enlightenment will bring
up the window asking to repair the files.
What am I missing or doing wrong?
Thanks
Mike
